Thousands of travellers are stuck in Asia today because of widespread flight problems. There have been over 2,400 flight cancellations and delays at Hamad International Airport (548 cancellations), Dubai International Airport (329 cancellations, 231 delays), Zayed International Airport (89 cancellations, 31 delays), Indira Gandhi International Airport (31 cancellations, 279 delays), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (21 cancellations, 64 delays), Tokyo International Airport (21 cancellations, 317 delays), New Chitose Airport (28 cancellations, 77 delays), Suvarnabhumi Airport (17 cancellations, 259 delays), and Ninoy Aquino International Airport (11 cancellations, 144 delays).

Airlines that had the most problems with their operations were Qatar Airways (546 cancellations), Flydubai (148 cancellations and 97 delays), Emirates (50 cancellations and 120 delays), IndiGo (90 cancellations and 115 delays), Etihad Airways (39 cancellations and 31 delays), Air India (30 cancellations and 126 delays), Japan Airlines (6 cancellations and 130 delays), and All Nippon Airways (4 cancellations and 108 delays). Thai Airways Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines Bangkok Airways, and Air Do are other well-known airlines that had delays on several routes.

The disruptions affected travellers in many major Asian and Middle Eastern cities, such as Doha Dubai Abu Dhabi, Delhi Hyderabad Tokyo, Hokkaido Bangkok and Manila. They also affected travel flows across Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, India, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines.
